  • Assist technical staff and other staff members with conference support duties at meetings, such as setting up and operating the public address systems and recording for conferences which drive decision-making for the CARICOM Region
  • Before scheduled meetings, prepare letters to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Commissioner of Police and the License Revenue Officer to provide information related to the logistics for meetings: Make contact with drivers seeking their availability to transport delegates from their various hotels to the CARICOM Secretariat or place of meetings and for each driver who has been assigned to a delegate for the meeting, prepare their schedule hours work sheet for payment
  • Support the Finance Programme Unit with payments and emoluments to staff and contractors by perform banking functions such as: depositing and purchasing of local and foreign currencies, dispatching cheques, collecting drafts, bank statements and delivery of payrolls
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and collect, seal and stamp outgoing mail
  • Clear all trays, distribute and route mail among staff members
  • Deliver correspondences and collect incoming mail from the Post Office
  • Shred unwanted material from the Secretariat’s offices.
