Worked as a Customer Service Officer and is currently a Remittance Teller at The Bank of Nova Scotia. As a Customer Service Officer I was responsible for handling and processing cash and non cash transactions accurately while ensuring full compliance of the banking regulations and policies. I also provided excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns and any transaction they wish to make or seek inquiry for. Some of those transactions entailed;

  • The procedure for opening an account with the bank and setting up appointments should the customer posses the necessary documents for doing so
  • Processing visa payments, credit card payments, loan and mortgage payments and also handling customer deposits and withdrawals.


As a Remittance Teller I was tasked with roles of responsibilities such as ABM and vault custodian.

  • . As a vault and ABM custodian which entails assisting in the process of packing and receiving cash shipments, performing cash loads and balancing of ABM machines whilst having combinations and codes for all vault treasuries, ABM machines, trolleys and safes.
  • Processed and verified remittance transactions with accuracy and attention to detail, such as company night deposit bags while also solving all transaction discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure full compliance, satisfy customers' demands and minimize risk associated with it.
  • Tasked with assisting the process of balancing ABM machines efficiently.
