John Durwin Murtland Anderson

A diligent Internal Medicine doctor, with a background in Pharmacy, Associate Professor within the Doctor of Medicine Program at the Georgetown American University Lecturing Biochemistry and Clinical Skills. Pharmacology and Pathophysiology lecturer at the Georgetown School of Nursing and Guyana Nursing Council. I possess strong leadership qualities which were evident from childhood. I was selected to be a prefect in my high school and later went on to be elected as youth leader in my church. At the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, I was selected to serve as head of the Junior Doctors Association. I serve as the Vice-Chairman of a Non-Governmental organization which promotes youth interest Guyana. Currently, I sit on the board of a newly formed health care company and serve as it's Healthcare Provider Coordinator. I have gained much needed experience as a founder of and the main catalyst in the formation of this startup medical company. This has improved my business acumen and added to my skill set as a healthcare professional.
