Dressings to post-operative site or wound using sterile procedure to prevent wound infection as well as if there is some form of drainage available such as an abdominal drainage the dressing will be reinforced with sterile gauze and tape to secured until doctor return to review the patient to the area if there is any apparent leakages.
In the access of stab or gunshot wounds dressings will be done as doctor instructed and which items/solution should be used to dress the wound(s)
