Main Purposes and Scope of Role:

1. Review various agricultural operations on Estates to ensure they conform to standard agricultural practices and GuySuCo's policies.
- Evaluation quality standards on all field activities (tillage, planting, harvesting, etc.).
- Determine if Estates are adhering to the Standard Operation Procedures as it regards the sequence and timing of critical field operations.
- Regularly assessing the varietal status and seed cane availability on estates.
- Determine drainage and irrigation efficiencies on Estates.
- Routinely monitor CapEx civil works carried out by Engineering Services on the Estates.
- Report on field structures found on Estates.
- Evaluate pest management strategies on Estates.
- Report on any agric. issues as requested by the Board of Directors.
2. Assist in the preparation and compilation of Audit reports.
3. Based on findings of audits conducted; with recommendations and suggestions for agricultural best practices.
4. Provide necessary support services to management.

Senior Staff - 4 Years: 2009 - 2013

• East Demerara Estates: LBI Estate

Key responsibilities:
1. Supervision of various Agricultural activities on the Estate with their respective Field Supervisors, Field Foremen and
Agricultural Workers.
2. Plan daily and weekly work programmes.
3. Assist in cost and management reviews.
4. Assist in budget preparations.
5. Settle Industrial Relations disputes among staff, workers, work systems and priced work while ensuring that fairness is
maintained to the Corporation and the human resources involved.
